Photo of Joey LevinJoey Levin has served as Executive Chairman of Angi, a leading platform for home services, since April 2025 when it spun off of from IAC, an NYC-based holding company that is home to dozens of digital products and iconic brands that engage millions of consumers every day, to form an independent company. Mr. Levin serves as Angi’s senior executive in partnership with CEO Jeff Kip to shape Angi’s next chapter as IAC’s 10 th fully independent company.

Mr. Levin has always been interested in building businesses – the people, the innovation, the engineering, the capital, and the management. “I consider myself among the luckiest in the world to have spent the past two decades working with and learning from [IAC Chairman and Senior Executive] Barry Diller and the many brilliant minds he has always attracted to his orbit,” he said earlier this year when the Angi spin-off was announced.

Upon graduating from the M&T Program in 2001, he took a job in investment banking – but he left after 18 months in favor of a lower-paying “corporate” job. “I knew investment banking would never captivate me,” he says. “That was a great decision.”

These days, he is very excited about AI and the “right answer.” He says, “the existence of AI and its ability to deliver the ‘right answer,’ and the evolving definition of singular answers to questions, will be transformative for business, politics, and many other fields,” he explains.

Back when Mr. Levin was an M&T student, he marveled that he was constantly surrounded by the most wildly bright and ambitious people in the world in his age group. To current and prospective students, his advice is to make friends at Penn. “It’s the most important, authentic, and valuable thing you can do at that stage in your life,” he says.
